Abstract
The theoretical and technological aspects of technology development, as well as the necessary equipment and ultrasonic devices allowing to produce a friction surface of the internal combustion engine (ICE) cylinder with improved indices of frictional characteristics, particularly, to improve the conditions of penetration of lubricants into the contact without deteriorating the accuracy characteristics and the surface quality of the friction pair. Materials in the developed scheme of the ultrasonic generator and the system for supplying ultrasonic energy to the transformer mounted on a special mandrel for honing machine are introduced.
