Abstract
The pressing process of the cylindrical sintered bar in a conical matrix at high backpressures is modeled in the automated software environment (ASE) “ABAQUS”. A method developed by a team is used; the choice of the high backpressure values is substantiated. Based on the analysis of the components’ data of the stress state and the numerical results of the material porosity, some features of the pressing process are formulated. Appropriate experimental studies are carried out as a result of which, pressings are obtained whose comparison proves the truth of the choice of the modeling method for given task in the automated software environment “ABAQUS”.
