Abstract
The current state of the fauna and ecological and biological features of synanthropic insects of the bloodsucking insects’ complex (fam. Tabanidae, Simuliidae, Culicidae) and gall midges - phytophagous (fam. Cecidomyiidae) of Vanadzor and its surroundings were estimated. As a result of studies have been registered 23 species of blackflies, 6 – mosquitoes, 25 – horse flies and 10 species of gall midges – phytophagous.
