Abstract
The article presents data from the experimental reproduction of African swine fever (ASF) in domestic pigs, infected with highly virulent ASF virus (genotype II). The pathomorphological changes are characterized by hemorrhagic and serohaemorragic affection of spleen, which accompanied with lymphoid follicule’s reduction, karyopicnosis and karyorrhexis of lymphocytes, as well as early viraemia, which has high titres in 5-7 days post infection.
