Abstract

To modeling of large elastoplastic deformations, arising in the process of introduction of an absolutely rigid indenter into the deformable barrier, a great many scientific works are devoted. In the publication [5], the static problem of penetration of non-deformable bodies into a homogeneous and isotropic medium and the possibility of its efficient numerical modeling based on the finite element method was discussed. Due to the satisfactory results of the preliminary investigations, the results of the numerical solution by the finite element method of the static problem of introducing a non-deformable indenter into the deformable barrier of a transversely isotropic material are proposed. The results of the solution of the axisymmetric static problem of punching the thin laminated washer by a non-deformable indenter are also illustrated.
