Abstract
An overview of literature on investigating the strength of the footwear part connections is carried out. The current theoretical and experimental studies on assessing the strength of the shoes part connections are analyzed, their advantages and disadvantages are revealed. Based on the review carried out, improved methods for evaluating the strength of the adhesive, thread, hairpin and combined connections of footwear parts are proposed. Proposals to increase the strength of the connections of parts of shoes and designing systems for its evaluation are developed. Preference at evaluating is given to the universal methods, allowing to assess the strength of various connections of footwear parts in a single installation.
