Abstract

Art critics and analysts have repeatedly studied the compositional interrelationship and symbolic interpretations presented in the popular mural painting “The Last Supper” by the outstanding engineerartist of the Renaissance era Leonardo Da Vinci. In this article an attempt is made to investigate and disclose some of the geometrically and numerically expressed ciphered regularities of the above mentioned mural by implementing the system of downsizing squares.
