Abstract

The rapid deployment of BIM in developed countries is due to intensive state intervention, sophisticated strategic approaches and initiatives for development promotion. The adoption of BIM in developed and developing countries, has led to changes in local and international regulations and norms. The purpose of the article is through litreture review, to introduce BIM adoption in different countries, commenting on the contributing internal and external developments and conditions. BIM technologies are the same throughout the world, and developed and developing countries use the same software. However, the ways of adopting BIM differs in the architecture, construction, procurement processes, educational levels and State regulations in the countries.
