Abstract

The artistic composition of memorial monuments of the Third Republic of Armenia inherited from the Soviet era the art of coincidence, sculpture, floral and geometric images, scripts and ornaments. All this has been complemented by the use of the first relief semester, then the mascot, bust, and finally the round sculpture. In addition, the composition of the cross carved on a flat carved slab was replaced by the image of a portrait of the deceased (duplicated from the photo), standing on a flat plate (standing from a stern). Such tattoos are mainly made of granite black plates. The use of cross-stones and cross-shaped embroideries had a new development. Parallel to the traditional cross-stones, large-scale cross-stones, “hollow” crosses, crossed crosses crossed with crosses, crossed crosses, framed crosses, birds, flowers, pomegranates, grapes and other vegetable solutions, etc.
