Abstract

The purpose of the article is to take into account modern requirements for thermal protection of buildings, as well as a number of factors characterizing the thermal protection of the building, climatic conditions, degree-day, heated volume and surface of the building's protective envelope, the effect of ventilation and infiltration on the energy efficiency of buildings. Introduce new approaches to assess the thermal protection of the projected residential and public buildings, to clarify their practical feasibility at the design stage.
