Аннотация

The problems of modernization of residential buildings of Yerevans built in 1920-50s are discussed. The importance of the development of this epoch in the process of the city image formation is substantiated, which determines the demand for special attention to its conservation. The problems of modernization of residential buildings are considered in the following directions: necessity for conservation, impact of time and necessity for modernization, modernization experience and functions. In the result of analysis, the main areas of the modernization process of residential buildings, built in 1920-50s in Yerevan, are identified.
