Abstract

Hydrotechnical constructions, especially the hydrotechnical nodes with high level of dam are very important construction, in case of damage of them immense crisis can happen with fatalities. During the exploration experience of earth fill dams, spillways many cases of damage are known. Each year more than 3000 cases of crisis in dams are happening for different reasons. Revealing the reasons for such damages is very significant in the way of rising reliability and safety of constructions. The detail observation of emergency situations of USA Oroville hydrotechnical node and some other cases in RA are presented, which will give an opportunity to specialists to evaluate appropriately the emergency situations in hydrotechnical nodes and to avoid new cases.
