Abstract

For many centuries in the architectural sphere, there is a tendency to achieve a lighter and more effective external character for buildings. The discovering of such constructional materials as antibacterial glass and ETFE polymer coatings made it possible to create unique and modern architectural structures. The ETFE (Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) material and antibacterial glass are being widely used nowadays. The usage of these two is quite prospective in the worldwide and Armenian construction spheres. Based on the world practice and many studies it is obvious that the use of these materials will be a solution for many problems of the construction, will allow preserving the existing Armenian architecture with modern approaches, making a significant contribution to the process of forming modern architecture.
