Abstract

It is studied the motives of development of the industrial enetrprises built in Yerevan city during the Soviet Union period, the phases of development of the master plan of the Yerevan City, the advisability of expanding the industrial areas in the southern part of the city, the reasons of their idle time and the ways of reuse. The world best practice of reconstruction is presented. One of the successful examples of functional reuse is given, which shows the approach to the reconstruction of the object.
