Abstract
One of the main reasons of loss of concrete physico-mechanical properties is water and to reduce its pernicious influence, water permeability reduction works are held. The main prerequisites of concrete water permeability are pores in concrete, through which water penetrates into concrete structure. An experiment was held to reduce concrete permeability by reduction of total volume of concrete pores. Below is presented the comparison between untreated concrete porosity and the porosity of concrete that is treated by mixture of penetrative waterproofing substance and silane/siloxane emulsion.
