Abstract

The work is dedicated to the historical and architectural analysis of the initial project of the first electrified d'Orsay railway station in Paris, and its future reuse project as a museum. The transformation of building is considered as a best example of similar programs of the late 20th century. Such approaches and methods like transformation of functional purpose of historical public building used in the work with historical public monuments, may serve as a model for their use in modern conditions, at the present stage.
