Abstract

The investigation of planning structure of the city Goris highlighted the particular importance of public spaces in the system of settlement; it connects individual planning units and gives a holistic perception of the city. The goal of forming a common system of public places is to create a holistic appearance of the city structure, increase the attractiveness of the settlement, and contribute to the development of a more integrated, aesthetically significant, ecologically healthy and barrier-free environment for the population and parishioners.
