Abstract

Since 2010 Capital of UAE Abu Dhabi City has developed “Estidama”, sustainability program system, to create a new potential for sustained health of whole system of human life, it promotes sustainable principles in every aspect for UAE community. “Estidama” is the sustainability initiative of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC). Sustainability is one of the most important topics nowadays. Sustainable buildings which have consider the Environment to minimize the negative impact of buildings on the environment, focusing on renewable energy, sustainable materials, water conservation, site development and indoor environmental quality. The benefits of sustainable buildings are categorized of Environmental benefits, Economic benefits and Social benefits. Sustainability includes a variety of activities through which the aim of green buildings is directed towards serving specific goals based on which we can evaluate the building. The aim of sustainability is to ensure that our current actions and activities do not inhibit the opportunities and the emotions of future generations.
