Abstract

A part of the description of the unique bridge near the town of Millau in France is given. General approaches and solutions of the viaduct, design solutions and process of the mounting are presented. The viaduct was constructed on the road A75 and it provides the junction between norht-west of France and Spain. Difficult studies were carried out and the corresponding constructions, course of which is represented in this paper.
