Abstract

Description of those features of architectural image of Yerevan which are in the basic level of the people’s spatial perception of the city are described. The quality of the image (imageability) of different areas of the city is evaluated. After several observations and analysis a conclusion has been made, accordingly, it is necessary to have a systematic and complex plan for improving the imageability, where the city will be considered both as a whole and as complexity of parts.
