Abstract
For the first time the multi-year (1999 to 2014) characteristics of the average annual maximum mineralization (0,6 to 1,9g/l) of the Ararat plain ground and collector-drainage waters according to spatiotemporal changes have been revealed. There is no doubt that the use of them for irrigation purposes is a potential risk of secondary salinization of soils, since their international norm is 0,4 ... 0,5 g / l. Therefore, when using these waters for irrigation, it is necessary to carry out the respective activities in order to avoid secondary salinization.
