Abstract

The construction of indicators requires implementation of several consecutive steps, one of which is the weighting of individual indicators. One of the most well-known weighting methods - is the “Benefits of Uncertainty” model, which is presented in this paper. As well as advantages and disadvantages of this method are presented and the ways of overcoming disadvantages are revealed. Weighting of indicators according to this method, with the normalization and aggregation procedures it is possible to get the score of indicator for each observed country.
