Abstract

The mechanisms and conditions of aerogenesis (gas formation) in aerated concrete mass and the benefits of the use of the new aluminum blowing agents for the manufacture of cellular concrete are discussed. Both the negative aspects of the use of aluminum powder in the production of aereted concrete and technological and environmental benefits of the use of new aluminum blowing agent are presented. The characteristics of new aluminum blowing agent used in the manufacture of aerated concrete are presented.
