Abstract

Several reinforcement methods for basis and foundations has been examined in the article that can be effectively used for buildings, structures, architectural monuments with historical significance in case of their unpredictable damages during their strengthening and reconstruction works. The usage of mentioned methods is economically advantageous, which excludes wholly or partially usage of manual labor in the production of earthworks.
The importance of problem formulation is based on the results of examinations done after the earthquake in 1988, according to which the deformation of building and structures had been caused by low quality work on the preparation of the grounds and building foundations.
