Abstract
One of the main objectives of earthquake engineering around the world is the ensuring of the bearing capacity of buildings and the safety of people during a seismic action with a possible decrease of construction expenses. Various types of seismic isolation systems have been spread in recent decades. The estimation of economic efficiency of isolation systems is shown in the article based on the example of various multi-story reinforced concrete frame-wall buildings with seismic isolators used in RA and without them. At the same time consumption of the materials of a bearing system were defined by applicable building codes is used as a parameter of efficiency.
