Abstract
The method of calculating the sloping flexible shells has been presented, which is particularly based on a variation principle of Ritz-Tymoshenko. The method of using the sloping flexible shells by the study of stress-deformation condition of flexible shells, when they have a rectangular shape in the plan, freely relied on pier part on the perimeter is under the influence of a uniformly distributed load has been described.
