ՋՐԱՅԻՆ ՀԱՄԱԿԱՐԳԵՐ

Abstract

The current state of anti –mudflow structures in the basins of the rivers Akhuryan and Kasagh-Sevjur has been estimated on the basis of field investigations and several defects have been detected. Among antimudflow hydro-engineering structures built here are mudflow discharge canals, water retaining dams, bank-protection walls, bridges, inclined drops, tunnels and others which are partially ruined, filled with alluvium and are partially unprofitable. Tree-planting work has also been realized. Variants of anti-mudflow measures are suggested which may decrease or partially prevent the effect of mudflow.
