Abstract
The atmospheric conditions have big influence on the global navigation satellite systems. If we do not take into account these impacts, our GPS measurements will have large errors. To increase accuracy of measurements, different atmospheric models are used. The most widely used model is an environment around the Earth, which is composed of layers with different thickness and physical conditions. Especially two layers - ionosphere and troposphere with their physical characteristics have big influence on the electromagnetic waves.
