Abstract
Flows, supplied to water users through water supply network, are changed with time depending on water demand schedule. Water supply systems are usually composed of several regulating reservoirs. To reduce their volumes to the extent possible the number of working pumps is being changed in different times of the day. The change of the number of working pumps causes unsteady flow. The objective of this paper is to study transition processes developed in the water supply system and pumps working conditions change in the course of time.
