Abstract
Based on previously conducted research the variation coefficient of average annual runoff (Cν) as the indicator of hydrological processes is considered and as the indicator of geological processes the dimensionless ratio of the river length (L) to the basin area (F) is assumed (L2/F). Using data from earthquakes of the last century and creating connections with their determining natural factors (Cν, and L2/F), a formula has been obtained, wich allows to estimate the seismic hazard of settlements of RA.
