Abstract
The article discusses the features of the architectural image of the development of new residential areas in Yerevan in 1960s. One of the major drawbacks of the mass housing - indeterminacy of the artistic image of the buildings, had the most negative aspects of development in 1960s, in the formation period of the process. This paper is dedicated to the identification of the different features of these problems.
