Abstract

The piecemeal collapse of totalitarian systems led to the individualization of the Armenian society. As a result false values came into being, and the members of the society started to attach importance to their own welfare instead of the modernization of the society. Thus we think that the key to the solution of this problem can be found in American-Armenian sociologist E. A. Terekian’s works on modernization, where one of the ways of modernization of the society is considered the formation and the development of homogeneous cultural values.
