Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of formation process and perspectives of social protection system in post-Soviet Armenia. Taking into consideration the fact that according to the Constitution of RA the Republic of Armenia is a social state, it is very important to explore and understand what kind of system and model of social protection are formed in post-Soviet Armenia. Besides, it is very important to describe the development process of social protection system, its main elements, analyze the effectiveness and development perspectives of the system. All these important questions have been discussed in the frames of the article.
