Аннотация

The scientific article is devoted to the discussion of concept of freedom of assembly, the interpretation of its components, including the advanced international practice. The author presents a variety of assembly definitions, series of actions through which assemblies are conducted, the importance of the purpose, location, duration of the assemblies, constitutional and legal mechanisms ensuring the full realization of freedom of assemblies. At the end of the article the role of interpretation of freedom of assemblies for effective implementation of the mentioned right in public life and for reduction of the distance between society and state bodies is emphasized.
