Abstract

This article from a spiritual viewpoint discussed the basic provisions of the famous works of Oswald Spengler's "Decline of the West", namely the unprecedented growth and the superiority of atheism and greed, aggressive intrusion of the outside world, the presence of revolutionary ideas in a society, the growth of scientific and technological advances, urbanization, moral decline and loss spiritual values. The author concludes that in Europe, where they lived and worked Dante, Petrarch, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Cervantes, Shakespeare, Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, Hölderlin, Hugo, Balzac, Apollinaire, Lorca, Picasso ... the night is approaching this Europe. We all expect great trials. And may God grant us the faith and fortitude. Amen.
