Развитие системы образования Армении в контексте Болонского процесса

Abstract

The new challenges existing for humanity in the result of globalization are discussed in this article. One of the opportunities to neutralize possible risks and not to stay back from the race is the reform of the system of education. In the result of involving in the Bologna Process is to transform the educational system of Armenia both in structure and in essence. Based on Bergen Communiquéa new paradigm has been created for the education quality assurance. The institutional and program accreditation processes have already launched in Armenia, which are new incitements for creating and establishing a new quality culture. Currently the management system of higher education institutions (HEIs) is changing, the academic programs are shifting to research-based education and are gradually being aligned to the ever-changing labor market needs, at the same time students’ mobility is increasing.
