Abstract

The author touches upon the Armenian Volunteer Movement, born on the Ottoman Empire during the First World War, the aim of which was riding Armenians of the Turkish power and establishing Independent Armenia. The article discusses the treatment of different questions and problems of this movement in the Armenian periodicals of the time, particularly in the “Armenia” newspaper. The article quotes the notable information, comments, opinions of different authors and witnesses featured on the pages of the newspaper, which attaches importance to the essence and historical significance of the Armenian Volunteer Movement.
