Abstract

The establishment of national regular army and special services is directly connected with the formation of national state, as power structures are the important elements of state construction, the essential institutes of defense and security. Referring to the process of formation of the first Armenian Republic power structures, the author pointed out its phases and observed the existing international situation. In the article special attention is paid to the formation of Armenian special services and their activities.
