Abstract

The importance of logistics in business and the entire economy, the issues of proper organization and management, improving the profitability of the organization, reducing costs in each supply chain, reducing the cost of goods, efficient management of goods in each circle, optimization of the resource of time, in the case of close coexistence of these rings smooth transition and regular supply chain are considered. In contemporary market economy, especially in economically developed countries, one of the key components of their business is the provision of outsourcing, partial or complete supply chain management to logistics operators. It may include the implementation of all logistics processes between the suppliers of goods and the procurement process prior to the delivery of the product. The research purpose is to show the importance of logistics in business management, in contemporary market relations, the direct dependence of the profitability of business on the cost of logistics, the role and place of supply in the economies of countries.
