Abstract

The process of the territories’ selection for the housing construction is presented. The territories of Yerevan city are classified by their affordability revealed after the studies of the thematic maps of the city and identification of the most significant factors. The factors that determine the territories’ accessibility and price categorization of territories, allowing to decide the sequence of lands’ utilization for construction are also presented, as well as the surfaces of lands actually available to use in Yerevan city and the percentage differentiation of the surrounding urban agglomerations areas depending on the possibility of the residents’ allocation are given.
