Abstract

Vertical gardening is discussed as one of the most popular trends of modern landscape design for the recent years. The history of phytowalls’ creation and the popularity of their utilization in modern urban conditions are studied. Main types of phytowalls, their accomplishment technologies and classification based on several features are introduced.
