Abstract

Hereby, those features of the meaningful architectural environment are described which are considered as scientific concepts only after the period of postmodernism. The main methodological approaches are analyzed which were and are used for the scientific (qualitative) interpretation of those meanings. They are generalized and systematized to some extend. The principal attributes of man-environment (meaning of environment) communication are highlighted in the result of such generalization.
