Abstract

The basic philosophical problems of technique and technology are considered, not only historical, but also from the point of overcoming meanings and methods of civilization crisis. One of the methodological most important basic problems of philosophical framework of technique is that how the technique turns into not technique (activity, technical rationalization, values, etc.). In the studied material the explanation and discussion of the characteristics of technique are centered around three concepts: instrumental, social-deterministic, autonomous technologies.
