Аннотация

Analyzing the use of words with the root բեկ- (bhreg-), in the “Book of Lamentations”, the author of the article comes to the conclusion that before writing the chapters 1-91 and 94-95 of his masterpiece, Grigor Narekatsi had become the victim of some kind of intrigue, had got a very heavy blow which had, in fact, broken, changed and wrecked his life. Later, to be exact, before writing chapters 92 and 93, the poet, fortunately, was justified and restored to the previous status, but the sorrow he experienced from the heavy blow had been so intolerable that even after justification, he could not forget the recently tested bitterness, for, in chapter 93 of the “Book of Lamentations”, which must necessarily be chapter 95, he sincerely confesses the Lord “... I do not forget the disgust of mine that sweetened from the mercy of Your greatness”.
