Abstract

It is known from studies of Armenian and Russian authors that Armenian Lazarev and Abamelek dynasties had done an appreciable contribution in the economic, political and cultural life of Russia.This paper talks on a remarkable representative of this dynasties – Anna Abamelek, in marriage A.D.Baratinskaya, who has been much courted in Russian literary-cultural environment of XIX century.The paper gives her biographic and literary portrait, presents her connections with famous Russian poets (their verses to her, reciprocal correspondence), defines and appreciates her works as a translator of poetry
