Аннотация

In the first quarter of XIX century, a big center of Armenian education – Lazarev Institute of Oriental Languages emerged in Moscow. It played a great role in developing of Russian-Armenian relationships and rising of the  Russian orientalism. In the 1832-1833, there were two parts of Glinka’s book on Armenian history published in the Lazarev Institution, and in 1833-1838 – the three parts of his second book. The huge work of collecting and processing the information from the different sources on Armenian history and publishing of these books has no response in the historical literature. The matter of the combining of all researches on Armenian history in the times of emerging the Armenian region as a part of the Russian Empire became the object of our research. The new sight of Armenian history became a result of the creative cooperation of Russian and Armenian historians. It created a basis of the Russian school of Armenian studies.
