Аннотация

In the article the author makes an attempt to present the activity of one of the Armenian typographers-Voskan Yerevantsi from the point of relations with Armenian
merchants. Not only Voskan’s two trader brothers, but also a range of other merchants supported financially and due to it Yerevantsi printed the first Holy Bible in Armenian. Merchants in their turn mostly influenced on the choice of the printable books and fostered to print not only religious, but also secular books, the books which concerned directly their practical needs.
