Abstract

On the 400th anniversary of the prominent Armenian printer, grammarian, philosopher, translator, public figure, the autobiography of Voskan Yerevantsi has been prepared for publication. In the article it is regarded as a brilliant polemical pamphlet which is directed against the contemporaries of Voskan and future enemies of science and education, advocates of darkness and ignorance. In his autobiography Voskan raised questions that had not only historical-cognitive value, but also actual sounding and meaning.
