Abstract

The content of Yeremia Qyomurtchyan’s “Diary” of 1648 is based entirely on the colophon of Menologium (Z107.008) written by Qristosatur in the same year in Constantinople, which is now kept in the Beinecke Library at Yale University. Pieces of evidence taken from the colophon have been inserted in "Diary" in future. While studying both sources, it is necessary to take into account that the chronological data relating to the history of the Ottoman Empire have minor divergences.
